The event brought together more than 60 participants: representatives of government agencies, military personnel, youth councils, student government, civil society organizations, the expert community, researchers, and international partners. Together, they discussed the role of young people in shaping Ukraine’s resilience, security, and future.
The discussions focused on issues of national security and community resilience, support for veterans and their reintegration into civilian life, countering propaganda and disinformation, the development of defense innovations, critical thinking, European integration, and Ukraine’s place in Europe’s security architecture.
Among the forum’s speakers was @Volodymyr Yurchenko, a military officer, head of the “Ukrainian Alliance” NGO, and chair of the Youth Council under the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
“A country’s resilience is determined not only by the strength of its military, but also by the strength of its national identity, critical thinking, and the willingness of the younger generation to take responsibility for Ukraine’s future,” he said.
Today, national resilience is forged not only on the battlefield. It takes root in communities, government institutions, universities, civic initiatives, and through the active participation of young people in decision-making. It is the younger generation that is already not only a witness to change but also one of the main drivers of Ukraine’s transformation.
We would like to thank the organizers and partners for the invitation and the opportunity to join this important conversation about the security, resilience, and future of our country:
